Bengaluru, Sept. 19 -- The Congress high command is considering a Political Affairs Committee in Karnataka to rein in growing friction between the government and the party organisation and ensure that key political and policy decisions are taken with greater coordination.
The proposed panel assumes significance amid the emerging differences between Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and KPCC president B K Hariprasad, with the party leadership keen to prevent the government-party divide from turning into an open internal confrontation.
