Shimla, June 6 -- Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar on Saturday distanced the Congress from remarks made by his son and former MLA Neeraj Bharti, saying the statements neither reflected the party's official position nor conformed to its principles of organisational discipline.

Bharti, a former Congress MLA from Jawali, has recently criticised the party leadership and the government headed by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, triggering political controversy and drawing attention within party circles.
