Hyderabad, Sept. 27 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday criticised the Congress and Rahul Gandhi for questioning Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the Election Commission after electoral defeats, saying the BJP does not "steal votes" but wins the confidence of the people.
Addressing a media conference at the BJP state office, Kishan Reddy said the Congress had praised the Election Commission when it came to power in states such as Telangana, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh, but questioned the institution when the BJP won elections.
