Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy lashed out at the Congress government in Telangana, alleging that it has failed to fulfill the promises made before the elections and has lost the trust of the people.

Speaking at the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-elections preparatory meeting held at Mahmood Gardens in Yusufguda on Saturday evening, Kishan Reddy said that people who had once rejected the BRS government by voting for change are now frustrated with the Congress as it continues the same policies under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

He alleged that Congress came to power on false promises but has not implemented the six guarantees and other assurances even after two years.
