Patna, Aug. 2 -- NSUI national in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar Sunday said the fact-finding committee constituted by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) to probe the alleged police excesses, lathi-charge and human rights violations during the recent student protests in Bihar had begun its inquiry and those found responsible would be held accountable on the basis of its report.
Kumar told news persons here that the committee had started collecting evidence in Patna and other districts by interacting with students, parents, teachers, lawyers, journalists and other stakeholders. He said the exercise was aimed at establishing facts rather than making political allegations.
