Puducherry, March 23 -- After a long struggle leading to strains in the ties, the Congress and the DMK finally settled the seat sharing issue amicably on Monday.
DMK election in-charge for Puducherry S Jagathratchagan MP and PCC president V Vaithilingam told newspersons on Monday evening that of the total 30 seats, Congress will contest 16 seats and allotted the remaining 14 seats to the DMK.
The DMK in turn will provide seats to allies such as CPI and VCK from its kitty.
