Patna, June 11 -- Congress has urged the Bihar government to immediately release the pending salaries and pensions of more than 50,000 teachers and non-teaching employees of the state''s 13 universities, as well as a similar number of pensioners, whose payments have reportedly been pending since March.
Bihar Congress Media Department Chairman and Chief Spokesperson Rajesh Rathore said here on Wednesday that the government should ensure the release of dues before the affected employees and pensioners face a serious livelihood crisis.
