Dehradun, April 22 -- Congress party's national spokesperson and social media chairperson Supriya Shrinate on Tuesday alleged that the Modi government had attempted to toy with the country's democracy, federal structure and constitution but the opposition dealt them a crushing defeat in parliament on the Women's Reservation Bill.
She said the opposition will continue to foil the Centre's alleged nefarious design to demean the federal structure of the country.
Speaking to the media in Dehradun, Supriya Shrinate said that the Women's Reservation Act passed in 2023 was deliberately linked to the delimitation and an outdated census without provision for OBCs.
