Lucknow, Oct. 21 -- The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee has raised the issue of alleged irregularities in the Pilibhit Sadar assembly constituency, leveling serious allegations against the Election Commission regarding the voter list.
The party claimed that the names of 804 voters in the constituency have been removed from the list, while the names of 13,150 voters have allegedly been changed automatically. The Congress said it will expose the alleged conspiracy of the Election Commission to the nation.
State in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam made these allegations at a Congress press conference held in Lucknow on Wednesday. Congress MP Imran Masood, MLA Aradhana Mishra 'Mona', and senior party leader Supriya Shrinate were also present.
