New Delhi, July 19 -- Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh on Sunday backed the joint letter written by Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking an independent probe into the financial affairs of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and accused the Prime Minister of remaining silent over the alleged financial irregularities.
