Chennai, June 7 -- Even as the DMK has opted out of the Congress-led INDIA Bloc citing betayal by its former ally, veteran P Chidambaram struck a discordant note, saying that the party hasn't snapped its ties with the DMK even as it joined the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government of Chief Minister Joseph Vijay much to the chagrin of the Dravidian major.
Interestingly, the Congress has firmed up its alliance with the TVK for the next Lok Sabha poll, even as the DMK has been targetting the National party terming it as backstabber and vowed no to have any truck with it in future. .
