Bengaluru, Sept. 15 -- The Congress high command has moved to contain growing strains in its Karnataka unit, with AICC general secretary and state in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala set to visit Bengaluru shortly after former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met party leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi.
Surjewala's visit comes amid growing concerns over coordination between Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and KPCC president B K Hariprasad, with the high command keen to ensure that differences within the state leadership do not undermine the government's functioning or the party's preparations for the next electoral battle.
