Mysuru, Aug. 30 -- A fresh controversy has erupted over the Dasara inauguration in Karnataka, with the Congress today filing a police complaint against a Bengaluru priest and two BJP leaders for making "derogatory and provocative" statements against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Booker Prize winner Banu Mushtaq.
KPCC spokesperson M Lakshmana submitted a written complaint to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Bindu Mani in Mysuru, seeking immediate registration of an FIR and arrests of those named.
