Bhopal, Feb. 12 -- In the run-up to the Madhya Pradesh Assembly's budget session due on Monday, the principal opposition Congress demanded that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav remove three ministers from his team.

In a letter to Yadav, Congress state president Jitu Patwari wrote that it was expected from the Chief Minister that he would sack Rajendra Shukla, Kunwar Vijay Shah and Kailash Vijayvargiya prior to the Governor's address to the House and honour public sentiments.

"Otherwise, a message will go out that the state dispensation lends silent support to lies, immorality, insult of the country's daughters and the Indian Army," Patwari said.
