Belagavi, Nov. 24 -- BJP MLA and former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi on Monday advised his party to stay away from the escalating leadership crisis in the ruling Congress.

He described the ongoing political churn as a "dirty swamp" that the BJP should not step into under any circumstances.

Speaking to reporters here, Jarkiholi said the instability within the Congress was entirely of its own making, driven by "confusion and competing ambitions", and not something the Opposition should get involved in.
