New Delhi, April 4 -- The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee has alleged a rise in black marketing and hoarding of LPG cylinders in the national capital, claiming that supply disruptions and enforcement gaps have led to inflated prices and hardship for consumers.
Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav, in a statement, referred to a recent case in the Bawana area where authorities seized 75 domestic and commercial LPG cylinders and arrested a 50-year-old man. He said the incident indicates the presence of an organised illegal trade, with cylinders allegedly being sold at several times the official price.
