Kolkata, July 2 -- A fresh complaint has been lodged against Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee over the alleged use of unsafe security arrangements during his travel.
The complaint was filed by Rajib Sarkar, who alleged that security personnel deployed with Banerjee are often seen standing outside the vehicle, hanging from both sides near the seat occupied by the leader.
According to the complaint, at Kalighat Police Station, the practice is not only risky and dangerous for the security personnel themselves but may also pose a threat to the safety of other road users.
Sarkar claimed that such a method of travel increases the possibility of accidents and should not be permitted.
