Warangal, June 5 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary and Kothagudem MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Friday said Communist parties have always fought for the poor and working classes, irrespective of whether they are in power or not.

Addressing the concluding session of the CPI Warangal district political training classes held at Nallabelli in Warangal district, he said Communist parties across the world have consistently stood by labourers, farmers and weaker sections of society.

Kunamneni alleged that "bourgeois parties" were working for the wealthy, while Communist movements fought against exploitation and injustice.
