New Delhi, June 1 -- Describing commerce as a "way of life" that has linked India and Oman for over five millennia, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday said the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which entered into force today, formalises a historic trading relationship and is poised to give fresh momentum to bilateral economic ties.

Addressing a presser on the conclusion of India-Oman CEPA negotiations here, the Minister said, "The sea doesn't ask where you come from; it simply carries you forward.
