Visakhapatnam, Oct. 10 -- Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat on Saturday called for coordinated efforts by the management, workers and other stakeholders to revive Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), popularly known as Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, and strengthen its production capacity and financial position.
Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony for comprehensive sports development works at the VMRDA grounds in Pedagantyada, under the Gajuwaka constituency, he said the plant's revival process faced several challenges, though the situation was gradually improving.
The coming months would be crucial in determining its future prospects, he added.
