Ashok RainaKangra, April 25 -- A cochlear implant, a small yet complex electronic device, is emerging as a transformative solution for individuals with severe hearing loss, enabling them to perceive sound and significantly improve their ability to understand speech.
Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva, globally known cochlear implant specialist who was in the town in connection with a free ENT camp organised by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari and Ripudaman Charitable Trust, told UNI that the device consists of both external and internal components.
