Chennai, May 22 -- A day after making its entry into the Cabinet for the first time in 59 years, The Tamil Nadu Unit of the Congress on Friday hit back at DMK's criticisms and asserted that coaltion regime has become a political reality in he State.
Pooh-poohing its former ally and Opposition DMK's criticism over the coalition set up that emerged for the first time ending the era of single party rule, the two Congress Ministers said by joining the Cabinet the National Party's land standing dream has now been fulfilled.
They also said Congress has proved wrong the oft-repeated remarks of political parties, including the DMK, that coalition government in TN would never be possible.
