Daltonganj, June 4 -- : Fifteen wagons of a coal-laden goods train derailed near Rajhara railway station in Jharkhand's Palamu district on Thursday, disrupting rail traffic on the Daltonganj-Garhwa Road section and forcing diversion, short termination and cancellation of several trains.
Railway officials said the goods train was on its way from Tori towards Mughalsarai when the derailment occurred near Rajhara station under the Dhanbad Division. No casualty or injury was reported.
Following the incident, railway authorities launched restoration work and senior officials rushed to the site. According to a railway bulletin issued at 4.35 pm, train operations on the affected section were disrupted.
