Lucknow, June 22 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered stern action on the guilty persons responsible for today's fire incident in which 15 students were killed.
CM Yogi rushed back to Lucknow, mid-way from his visit to Aligarh and Hathras districts.
CM visited the three-storey building in Aliganj area of the state capital where the fire occurred, and met the family members of the deceased and injured at the KGMU hospital this evening.
CM announced an ex gratia payment of Rs 5 lakhs to the family of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced Rs 2 lakh compensation for the deceased family and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
