Bengaluru, March 17 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene following the sudden 'cancellation' of Railway Department exams for 194 Goods Train Manager posts and 101 LDC vacancies in the Hubballi Division.

"I urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally intervene and issue firm instructions to the Railway Department to promptly conduct the canceled exams, providing an opportunity for candidates to write them in Kannada," he said on X.

APO officer Tiramala Reddi, however, clarified that the exam has been postponed, not canceled, and said a revised schedule would be announced soon.
