Shillong, March 8 -- Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today greeted the women folk of matrilineal Meghalaya on occasion of International Women's Day and expressed optimism that they would continue to achieve more.
"Wishing all the incredible women who believe, dream, break barriers and achieve so much more a very Happy International #Womens' Day," Sangma posted on X.
"In Meghalaya, #Women Empowerment means ensuring that women have the freedom to make their own choices, achieve financial independence and pursue their dreams with confidence," the Chief Minister noted.
