Patna, July 15 -- Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday inaugurated academic activities at 211 newly established degree colleges across Bihar from the campus of the newly established Government Degree College at Kasil in Goradih, Bhagalpur.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described the occasion as a proud moment for Bihar. He said the state government had taken a historic step towards expanding higher education, enabling students in every block to access quality higher education closer to home.
Choudhary announced that a new university dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science would be established in Bhagalpur, making the city an important centre of education at the national level.
