New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh today held a review meeting at Delhi Secretariat to assess the availability of medicines, equipment, staff, and infrastructure across government hospitals in the national capital.

The meeting came in the wake of reports of severe delays in MRI and CT scan services at Lok Nayak Hospital, where patients were reportedly given MRI appointments as late as 2028 following a breakdown of the digital imaging system.

Gupta responded to the media queries regarding the delays, and stated that some hospitals in the city are still using outdated medical machines.
