Shimla, July 22 -- Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday reviewed the situation arising out of a cloudburst in Boh valley of Kangra district and assured all possible assistance to the affected families.
The Chief Minister spoke over the phone with Deputy Commissioner Kangra Hemraj Bairwa, who was at the site supervising rescue and rehabilitation operations, and also interacted with families affected by the cloudburst triggered by heavy rainfall.
Sukhu sought details about the extent of damage caused by the cloudburst, the safety of residents, restoration of essential services and the measures being taken by the district administration to deal with the situation.
