Hyderabad, Oct. 9 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday extended Bathukamma festival greetings to all women and girls in the state, wishing them nine days of celebrations starting from October 10 filled with joy, songs and dances from Engili Poola Bathukamma to Saddula Bathukamma.
In a message, the Chief Minister said Bathukamma was a unique tradition of worshipping nature through floral arrangements and offering prayers to Goddess Gauramma.
He described the festival as a symbol of Telangana's self-respect, cultural heritage and collective spirit, reflecting the unity of people in sharing both joys and sorrows.
