New Delhi, July 14 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday unveiled, "Mayur' the official mascot for the 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships, noting that peacock-inspired design is a symbol of India's excitement and enthusiasm for hosting the international gaming event.
Presenting the mascot during an event in Delhi, Gupta said the peacock's feathers, which incorporate the national flags of the participating countries, convey the message of universal sportsmanship.
