New Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug. 5 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday met union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil in New Delhi and sought the Centre's intervention in resolving the issue of increasing the height of the proposed Tummidihetti project.
Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Members of Parliament accompanied the Chief Minister during the meeting.
Revanth Reddy requested the union Minister to facilitate discussions with the Maharashtra government to secure its approval for raising the project's height from the earlier agreed 148 metres to 150 metres.
