New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that Janmashtami is not only a celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, but the occasion marks a festival of devotion, joy and spiritual bliss.
Gupta stated that Lord Krishna's life and teachings continue to inspire humanity to follow the path of truth, righteousness, duty and compassion.
CM Gupta offered prayers at the ISKCON Temple, in New Delhi and took part in the celebrations on the auspicious occasion.
Chief Minister also extended her heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the residents of the national capital, praying that Krishna's blessings bring happiness, peace, prosperity and well-being to everyone.
