Chandigarh, March 28 -- In a major expansion of Punjab's public healthcare infrastructure, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday dedicated 109 new Aam Aadmi Clinics to the public. With this addition, the state's network of these flagship clinics has grown to 990 within just four years, with an additional 400 facilities expected to become operational shortly. Addressing a massive gathering in Fatehgarh Sahib, Kejriwal highlighted the success of the free healthcare model, noting that the clinics have already recorded 5 crore OPD visits and currently provide 107 essential medicines and 47 diagnostic tests free of cost to the citizens.
