Itanagar, June 6 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" plantation drive at Government Secondary School, Chimpu, organised by BJP Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with the State Minority Morcha.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, local residents, BJP karyakartas and volunteers, who joined hands to promote environmental conservation through tree plantation.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized that tree plantation should not be treated as a one-day activity but as a lifelong commitment.
He said every tree planted today would contribute to cleaner air, a healthier environment and a better future for coming generations...
