Rohtak, July 23 -- Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini honoured notable writers, poets, and artists with state awards at the Sahityakar Samman Samaroh on Thursday.
The event was held at the Central Auditorium of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Surya Kavi Pandit Dada Lakhmi Chand.
Earlier, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes at the statue of Dada Lakhmi Chand, planted a sapling on the university campus, visited an exhibition put up by students and inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
