Shimla, June 2 -- BJP Himachal Pradesh chief spokesperson and MLA Rakesh Jamwal on Monday alleged that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had lost the people's mandate and was making "baseless remarks" against the BJP leadership out of political frustration following the recently concluded local body and Panchayati Raj elections.
Addressing the media here, Jamwal said the election results had exposed the "true position" of the Congress government in the state. He claimed that the Chief Minister was attempting to mislead the public by downplaying the BJP's performance in the urban local body and Panchayati Raj institution elections.
