Hyderabad, March 24 -- Telangana Sports and Youth Services Minister Vakiti Srihari on Tuesday said the CM Cup competitions will continue as a sustained initiative to identify and nurture sporting talent across the state.
Speaking at the state-level closing ceremony of the second phase of the CM Cup at the LB Indoor Stadium, the Minister said the event was designed to bring out the "hidden gems" from across Telangana and provide them with opportunities to excel in sports.
He said the competitions, conducted in two phases and across multiple levels-from village to state-aim to create a strong sporting ecosystem. Emphasising the importance of dedication, he urged young athletes to work hard and draw inspiration from icons like Saina Nehwal....
