Bagalkote, April 5 -- Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Sunday said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is aware that defeat in the upcoming by-election is certain for the Congress.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Yediyurappa said Siddaramaiah has been camping in the constituency for weeks and actively campaigning, as the party's candidate belongs to his own community and ensuring his victory has become a priority.
He claimed that it is widely known that the Congress is headed for defeat and expressed confidence that BJP candidate Veeranna Charantimath will secure victory in Bagalkote.
