Lucknow, Aug. 28 -- Senior Congress leader and Congress Legislative Party leader in Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Aradhana Mishra 'Mona', has raised serious concerns regarding the acute shortage of urea fertilizer across the state, particularly in her constituency Rampur Khas in Pratapgarh district.
In a letter addressed to the state's Agriculture Minister, she highlighted the growing distress among farmers as the ongoing kharif season reaches its critical phase for the paddy (rice) crop. Mishra pointed out that fertilizers, especially urea, are currently unavailable at cooperative societies, forcing desperate farmers to stand in long queues only to return empty-handed.
