New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- India said today it is closely monitoring the developments in Nepal following the widespread 'GenZ' violence there and the deaths of 19 people in police firing, and expressed hope that restraint will be exercised and all issues addressed through peaceful means and dialogue.

In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs also said that following the curfew imposed in Kathmandu and other cities, Indian nationals are advised to exercise caution and stick to the guidelines issued by the Nepali authorities.
