Shimla, Nov. 3 -- The weather in Himachal Pradesh will remain clear today, but rain and snowfall are expected for two days starting Tuesday.
The Meteorological Center, Shimla, has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms for Kangra, Chamba, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi districts on November 4.
A warning of strong winds and rain has also been issued for Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and Solan on November 5.
Light snowfall is expected on the high peaks of Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba, Kinnaur and Kangra during this period. This is expected to increase the cold and cause temperatures to drop.
