Shimla, Oct. 11 -- Although light rain was recorded in Shimla the sunshine prevailed in other parts of the state. Clear weather is forecasted throughout the state from today. During this period, sunshine and temperatures are expected to rise, bringing relief from the cold. With the weakening of the western disturbance, sunshine is expected until October 16th.
After the weather cleared in most areas of Himachal Pradesh, temperatures in the plains and mid-mountain areas have increased due to sunshine. The recent snowfall has continued to chill the higher mountain areas, with minimum temperatures hovering in the sub-zero range in many areas. Clear weather is forecasted throughout the state from October 11th to 16th.
