New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday urged residents to make cleanliness a daily habit rather than restrict it to government campaigns, as she joined students, teachers and residents in a cleanliness drive at Kamla Nehru Ridge under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan 2026'.
Participating in the nationwide 'Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath' cleanliness drive, Gupta said maintaining public spaces could not be the sole responsibility of civic agencies and required sustained participation from citizens.
"Cleanliness should not be limited to a single day or a particular campaign, but should become a regular habit and a collective responsibility," she said.
