Nagpur, July 25 -- : CJP workers and student activists erupted in celebration at Samvidhan Square here on Saturday following the announcement of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, describing it as a major victory for the nationwide movement over the NEET paper leak controversy.
The protest venue, which has served as the epicentre of the anti-NEET agitation in central India over the past several days, came alive with dhol-tasha performances, slogan shouting and the distribution of sweets as supporters marked the development.
Activists said the resignation reflected the growing pressure generated by sustained protests and the united voice of students demanding accountability for the alleged paper leak.
