New Delhi, June 15 -- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is undergoing a sweeping modernization drive to strengthen the security of India's critical infrastructure against emerging threats ranging from hostile drones to sophisticated cyber-attacks.
Guarding some of the country's most strategic assets, including airports, nuclear installations, seaports, metro networks and key industrial establishments, the force has launched an extensive upskilling programme in partnership with the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force (IAF) and premier academic institutions to prepare personnel for future security challenges.
