Ranchi, April 27 -- The Crime Investigation Department (CID), Jharkhand has arrested a home guard jawan in connection with the Bokaro treasury-related fraud case, officials said on Monday.
The accused has been identified as Satish Kumar alias Satish Kumar Singh, who was deputed in the accounts section of the Bokaro Superintendent of Police office.
According to CID, the accused was an associate of the main accused, accounts officer Kaushal Kumar Pandey, in the case related to alleged illegal withdrawal of funds.
An FIR was registered on April 24 under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the IT Act. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted for detailed probe.
