Kochi, Aug. 22 -- Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has advised passengers booked on SpiceJet flights to check their flight status with the airline before proceeding to the airport, amid continuing operational disruptions affecting the carrier's services from Kochi.
CIAL said the ongoing issues with SpiceJet had caused considerable inconvenience and uncertainty among passengers. The airport operator also disputed the airline's claim on social media that the disruptions were caused by bad weather at Kochi.
"There were no adverse weather conditions at Kochi warranting the disruption cited in the communication," CIAL said in a passenger advisory issued on Saturday.
