Los Angeles, Feb. 27 -- Universal Pictures' forthcoming romantic comedy "The Catch" is generating significant industry buzz, with Chris Pine reportedly in advanced talks to star opposite two-time Academy Award winner Emma Stone.
The film will be directed by Dave McCary from a script by Patrick Kang and Michael Levin, reports DEADLINE.
While plot details remain unknown other than it being described as a two-hander rom com, if a deal does close, this will likely be the next film Stone shoots. She had been weighing several options in the fall, but after a recent draft came in on The Catch, she turned her attention to this project.
