Los Angeles, April 9 -- Chris Hemsworth has formally sealed his return for "Extraction 3", the forthcoming instalment in the high-adrenaline action franchise.
The film is expected to go on floors this summer, with familiar faces returning to the project. Sam Hargrave is back to direct, with Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani also back on board. David Weil is writing the script.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but one can expect another high-octane thrill ride as Rake (Hemsworth) and his team are sent on another dangerous extraction mission.
The story is based on the graphic novel "Ciudad" by Ande Parks. Production is set to start over the summer, according to Deadline, which broke the news, reports VARIETY.
